Short Bio

I am a researcher at the Life Simulation Research Center, Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI). I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool in 2024, advised by Profs. Xi Yang, Kaizhu Huang, Qiufeng Wang, and Frans Coenen.

My research aims to build AI systems that can adapt, reason, and act reliably in complex, evolving environments. I study the principles of adaptation and generalization under distribution shifts, with medical imaging as a central domain for connecting robust learning with quantitative understanding of anatomy and function. My recent work on multimodal large language models and agents extends this effort from image understanding and patient-specific modeling toward evidence-grounded reasoning, with the broader goal of bringing perception, modeling, and reasoning together in dependable systems for science and medicine.
